Paving To Affect Lawrence Road Traffic Overnight Next Week: PennDOT
PennDOT said crews will be paving along a portion of Lawrence Road overnight next week, forcing a lane closure to accommodate the work.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Lawrence Road in Marple Township will have a lane closure overnight for several days next week, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said paving work will force a lane closure on the road overnight Monday through Thursday.
The closure hours are from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers will encounter the closure on sections of Lawrence Road between Sproul Road/Route 320 and West Chester Pike/Route 3.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
This work is part of multiple ongoing projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county region.
Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
