Pennsylvania Library Association Recognizes Marple Library's Children's Program

BROOMALL–Andrea Mandel, head of Children's Services at , recently received the Best Practice Award from the Pennsylvania Library Association for the program "Grandma, Grandpa and Me." 

According to the library, the program concentrates on children and their grandparents as caregivers. Special activities for the program focused on the special needs of grandparents raising their grandchildren. Marple Library was one of only six libraries statewide to win an award.
