Philadelphia-Area Lowe's Stores Spared in Company's 20 Store Closures

The Lowe's home improvement store announed on Oct. 17 that they will be closing 20 "underperforming stores" in 15 states, in which Philadelphia-area stores have been spared, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

In addition, the Philadelphia Business Journal states that the company will discontinue a number of new store openings and projects, cutting their planned store openings to about half for 2012.
