Pothole Repair Work Scheduled On Marple Township Road This Week

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT crews are continuing to address deteriorated road conditions across the Philadelphia region this week, including one road in Marple Township.

Maintenance crews will be working on Marple Road in Marple Township this week to fix potholes.

Drivers are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes.

PennDOT said the Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.

Drivers should drive slowly in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.

Crews will be patching potholes until all areas are addressed. All activities are weather dependent.
