Potholes On Marple, Newtown Roads Being Targeted For Repair This Week

PennDOT said the region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild.

MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — Three roads in Marple and Newtown townships will be targeted for pothole repair work this week, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT crews will be working to fix potholes on Marple Road, Bryn Mawr Avenue, and West Chester Pike.

Slowdowns are possible on these roads next week.

According to PennDOT, the region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
