Preschool Fun, Sunny Skies Thursday in Marple Newtown

• Government: Marple Township Public Safety Committee meeting Thursday.
• Fun: Preschool Fun at Newtown Library at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. An interactive storytime, for ages 3 to 5 years, featuring books, songs, activities and more. No registration is required.
• Sport: Heading to the green today? Check out Paxon Hollow Country Club's live webcam. 
• Traffic: Check on your commute on the PennDOT traffic cameras before you leave the house. But the traffic will likely be terrible—it's traffic.
• Weather: The forecast calls for temperatures to reach the high 70s with sunny skies. Things are expected to cool down in the evening. 
• History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 1978, the world's first test tube baby was born and the Air France Concorde jet crashed on takeoff in 2000. Watch more here.
