Resurfacing Work To Affect Lawrence Road Traffic This Week: PennDOT

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Lawrence Road in Marple Township will have overnight lane closures this week due to road repair work, PennDOT said.

Alternating lane closures will impact traffic on Lawrence Road Wednesday and Thursday.

The closures will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning between Sproul Road/Route 320 and West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Marple.

Crews in the area will work to repair, mill, and repave the road with new asphalt pavement that will seal the roadway and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface, PennDOT said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
