Road Cloing Saturday In Marple For Annual Fall Festival

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Marple Township's annual Fall Festival is set for Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park, and with the event will come traffic impacts on Lawrence Road.

The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the park. Attendees will enjoy food vendors, local retailers, and kids activities during the day.

But due to the festival, Lawrence Road will have closures in various locations, forcing drivers in the area to be detoured.

According to Marple Police, road closures will begin at 9 a.m.

Below are details on traffic impacts from the festival:

• Lawrence Road at Parkway Boulevard — All traffic traveling towards West Chester Pike will be detoured north or south on Parkway Boulevard.
• Lawrence Road at Springhouse Road — All traffic traveling on Springhouse Road towards Lawrence Road will be detoured west towards Parkway Boulevard.
• Lawrence Road at Canterbury Drive — Any vehicular traffic will be directed towards Sussex Boulevard.
• Lawrence Road at Sussex Boulevard — All traffic traveling towards Sproul Road will be detoured south on Sussex Boulevard.
• Lawrence Road between Canterbury Drive and Springhouse Road will be completely closed to all vehicular traffic.
