DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — SEPTA is proposing major cuts to its service as it faces a massive funding shortfall.

The transit authority has floated a reduction of bus service, the elimination of five Regional Rail lines, and a 9 p.m. curfew on rail service as it faces a $213 million budget gap.

These drastic measures have led local officials to rally in an effort to avoid what they say would be disastrous to the region's economy.
