Storms Could Bring Flooding, Hail To Southeastern PA

SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Potential heavy rain could bring flooding to parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters are predicting showers and thunderstorms in the region Thursday.

Some may bring flooding conditions, forecasters said.

Additionally, storms may feature hail and damaging winds. The storms are most likely to occur before 2 p.m.

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind, 5 to 10 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
