Sweet Brother and Sister Duo Seek Loving Home

Rusty and Penny are available for adoption through the Animal Coalition of Delaware County.

Penny and Rusty are 4-year-old brother and sister cats that need a good home. They are very much loved, and it is breaking their owner's heart to part with them but their "mommy's" allergies have gotten so bad that she can't even touch them anymore. If at all possible, the Animal Coalition of Delaware County would like to be able to keep the two cats together, but it would be okay to separate them if the right opportunity comes along.

Penny's a medium-haired Maine Coon (mixed) female. She's very laid-back and relaxed, but when she's ready for some attention, she turns on the charm with her adorable meow and motorboat purr. She goes crazy when you pat her "butt" and loves to perch in your arms while being carried around the home like royalty. She's a very sweet cat and is really patient and gentle with kids.

Rusty's a male tabby "swirl" (he's got a swirl pattern on both sides). This svelte guy is a total lap cat that loves to cuddle with people and other cats on the couch, the foot of the bed, and even under the blankets on chilly nights. Rusty usually keeps his distance from kids until he gets to know them, but is very active and playful–great with kids that aren't too little. He's very social and really needs to have other cats around to play and nap with. He's a very funny cat with lots of energy and personality.

These two have such a sweet demeanor and would fit well in any cat-loving home. Neither cat has ever been exposed to dogs, so a dog household probably wouldn't be the best environment for them. Both are spayed/neutered, are up-to-date on their shots and in good health. Contact the at 610-876-1479 or visit www.acdc.ws for more information.
