Van Crashes Into Broomall Medical Center Wednesday

No one in the center was hurt, but the van's driver was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to first responders.

BROOMALL, PA — A vehicle crashed into a building Wednesday afternoon in Broomall, and luckily no one inside the building was injured.

The Broomall Fire Company was called to Main Line Health's Mirmont Outpatient Center, 600 Abbott Drive in Broomall, just after noon for a crash with entrapment.

Crews found a van crashed into the front of the center, the driver and sole occupants were not entrapped inside it, the fire company said.

The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, and no one inside the center was injured, according to the fire company.

There is no word on what caused the crash or the driver's condition.

A representative for Main Line Health told Patch operations are at the Broomall Mirmont Outpatient Center.

The front entrance is closed for repairs, and patients are being directed to use an entrance at the back of the building.
