Walk the Meadows Preserve & Tour the 1742 Tavern - May 15th at 1:00pm

Join us on our "Walk to the Meadows" Sunday, May 15th at 1:00PM!

This approximately 4-mile trail walk will start at the 1742 Square Tavern, proceed along the Liseter trail, and explore our township’s beautiful 50-acre Meadow Preserve!

Go as far as you like – the parts leading up to the Meadows are paved, and the Meadow preserve paths will be mowed.

Parking for our Walk to the Meadows will be available at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church (corner of Rte. 252 and Goshen Road).

And an added bonus, the beautiful 1742 Square Tavern is going to open for us! Tour this historic building - filled with art, historic toys, and fascinating lore - before and after our walk!

Several artists from the Delaware Valley Art League may also be in attendance, selling and demonstrating their skills on the front lawn.

Enjoy a lovely afternoon in a meadow, learn local history, and meet artists!
