- Why Go:Β The 5K, which raises funds andΒ awareness for childhood cancer, is a fun way to getΒ involved in ALSFβs quest to find betterΒ treatments and cures for all kids with cancer.Β Join more than 2,000 runners and walkers including several childhood cancer heroes and their families, to complete the 3.1 mile course.Β Read one woman's story here.Β
- Cost: Register in advance to receive the reduced rates of $35 (5K runnerβtimed), $25 (5K walkerβnot timed) and $15 per child, ages 10 and under (100 meter Kidsβ Dash). Registration is also available on the day of the event,Β but increased rates will apply.

- Why Go:Β This unique opportunity for families affected by autismΒ and other disabilities offers much more than a movie. WatchΒ Free BirdsΒ in the movie theater with theΒ lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing. Girls Night Out Shopping Event
