Ben Franklin Bridge Shuts Sunday Morning for 10K
4,500 runners will hit the bridge for the annual charity race.

Don't plan on crossing theΒ Ben Franklin Bridge onΒ Sunday morning using almost anything with wheels.
The bridge will closed to traffic in both directions starting at 7:45 a.m., as aboutΒ 4,500 runners get set for the annualΒ Run the Bridge 10K, which goes off at 8:30 a.m.

The bridge is scheduled to reopen to traffic around 9:30 a.m., after all the runners have cleared the span.
The course takes runners through the central part of the city, closing portions of Cooper, Market, FederalΒ and North 3rd streets, as well as Broadway and Delaware Avenue.
