Delco GOP Headquarters Vandalized

The broken glass door at the Media headquarters shows a "rising hostility directed at Republicans," according to the Delaware County GOP.

MEDIA, PA — The headquarters of the Delaware County Republican Party was vandalized, according to officials.

The Delco GOP took to social media Thursday to share a photo of a shattered front glass door at their Media headquarters.

Officials with the party said the vandalism occurred Wednesday.

"This is yet another disturbing example of the rising hostility directed at Republicans across our communities," the Delco GOP said on social media. "There is absolutely no room for violence in our political discourse. Disagreements are part of democracy. Smashing windows is not."

The party called on Democrats both in the county and state to denounce the vandalism.

"Silence is complicity," they said. "We will continue to stand strong, do our work, and fight for our values."
