The Edgmont Golf Club filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October, according to the Delaware County News Network.
The Edgmont Country Club, on West Chester Pike, owes more than $2.2 million, according to the Delaware County News Network, however the filing is considered a reorganization move by the club's owners.
“We’re extremely optimistic about the future,” Chief Financial Officer Peter Mariani told the Delco News Network.
The golf club remains open for business.
