Fire Erupts At Abandoned Delco Church
The abandoned Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Chester caught fire Wednesday morning.
CHESTER, PA — Flames tore through an abandoned Delaware County church Wednesday morning.
A fire broke out at about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on the 1400 block of West Second Street in Chester, Action News reports.
The fire was raised to two alarms, then three alarms about an hour after it started, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.
