1 Of 2 Girls Hit By Car While Scootering In Delco Has Died
Abigail Gillon, 12, has died after she and Isabella Jones, 11, were struck by a vehicle while they were riding a scooter Saturday in Delco.
ASTON, PA β One of the two young girls who were hit by a vehicle in Delaware County Saturday has died.
A family spokesperson said via GoFundMe that Abigail Gillon, 12, died as a result of Saturday's crash in Aston Township.
"After fighting hard to combat a severe traumatic brain injury, Abigail passed away June 16 at 2:28 pm.," Stephanie Jensen wrote on the fundraising website.

Isabella Jones, 11, remains in critical condition. A GoFundMe has been established to support her and her family during her recovery.
Aton Township Police said the girls were struck at about 2:18 p.m. Saturday at Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road in the township.

They were riding an electric scooter when they were hit.
Police said the girls were taken to Neumors Childrenβs Hospital Delaware after suffering serious, life-threatening injuries.
The striking driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police, authorities said.
No charges have been filed.
A third fundraiser will split money it generates between the two girls' families.
