As search and arrest warrants were being completed, Morton Police found the vehicle and monitored it until the warrants could be served.
A police sergeant eventually saw Harris trying to get into the vehicle and placed him under arrest.
A search warrant was then served on an apartment in Morton with the help of Delco’s Central SWAT team. During that search, authorities found and seized a cache of handguns and rifles.
Police said the handguns had no serial numbers and are believed to be "ghost guns."
Harris is charged with two counts each of attempted murder, aggravated assault, criminal mischief, simple assault, harassment, recklessly endangering another person, unlawful restraint, and terroristic threats. He is also charged with firearm violations, drug and drug paraphernalia possession, and disorderly conduct.
He is being held on $2 million bail and is scheduled for a July 7 preliminary hearing, court documents show.
