• Halloween is Thursday
• Middletown and Media-Upper Providence libraries will be closed on Oct. 29 for a county-wide training day
• Middletown Township Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28. Council will review a conditional use application and preliminary subdivision plan for Ponds Edge. Find the full agenda here.

• Psychic Tuesday with Vee at 7 p.m. at Stephen's on State on Oct. 29
• Live a Healthy Life Workshop from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Surrey in Media. The workshop for adults with diabetes, cardiac or pulmonary disease, arthritis, anxiety or any other ongoing health condition can learn how to communicate effectively with doctors and family, eat well, relax, manage pain and gain control of your life. The free 6-week workshop for adults age 60 and older who live in Delaware County will be offered every Wednesday through Oct. 30. • Movies at Middletown Free Library at 2 p.m. on Oct. 28. Watch the modern adaptation of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Registration required.
