Man Punched 7-Year-Old At Delco School: State Police
Authorities said a 55-year-old man hit a 7-year-old child in the face with a closed fist at a school for people with disabilities.
ELWYN, PA β Pennsylvania State Police said a man punched a child in the face at a Delaware County school for people with disabilities last month.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 2:03 p.m. May 8 at Elwyn Davidson School, 111 Elwyn road in Elwyn.
Police said 55-year-old Frederick Jones, of Chester, struck a 7-year-old child in the face with a closed fist.

A warrant was issued for Jones' arrest, and he was taken into custody May 9, police said.
Court records show he is charged with simple assault, harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Jones is free on $100,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled for a July 2 preliminary hearing, according to court documents.
