Media To Celebrate Mayor's 33 Years Of Service

MEDIA, PA — In celebration of Mayor Bob McMahon's 33 years in office, the Media Business Authority is hosting a special ceremony next week.

The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Dimond Park and will honor McMahon for his contributions to the economic development of Media Borough, including a renaissance of Media's iconic downtown business district.

The public is invited to attend the free event, which will feature words of thanks from the business community and a live musical performance.

In addition, custom-made signs of appreciation for McMahon, provided by Media’s small businesses, community organizations, and individuals, will be displayed on lampposts along State Street throughout September.

The Tribute Under the Stars will take place during Dining Under the Stars. Now in its 18th season, the highly-popular event draws thousands of visitors to Media every Wednesday evening from May through September.
