Chanukah Village, Grinch Coming To Media This Weekend

MEDIA, PA — Media is hosting holiday fun this weekend, with Christmas and Chanukah events on the docket.

On Saturday, the Grinch will visit state street.

The Grinch will be prowling all around the State Street District between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Visitors can snap photos with the iconic Christmas hater who underwent a drastic change of heart after witnessing the resilience of the people of Whoville.

Then on Sunday, Chabad of Media is hosting the Chanukah Village from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 2 W. Front St.

Participating downtown shops and restaurants will offer crafts and activities, followed by the Grand Menorah lighting at the Delaware County Courthouse and the Great Chanukah Gelt Drop.

The event is free to attend, and registration is requested.

Media visitors are also invited to check out the Ornament Arch in Plum Street Park or the live Christmas Tree outside Trader Joe’s for photo opportunities.
