Tax Day Hours for Local Post Offices

Most post offices are not staying open late on Tax Day this year, according to the U.S. Postal Service website and news reports.

That also includes the post offices in , located on Baltimore Pike, and , located on West Chester Pike.

Both locations will operate normal business hours on Tuesday, April 17. The Media location is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., while the Edgmont location is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you can't meet the 4:30 p.m. deadline, head over to the post office in Springfield, located on 1138 Baltimore Pike. Their hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Or, head over to the Southeastern location on 1000 West Valley Road in Wayne, which is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tax forms are not available at the post office and all forms must be postmarked by 11:59 p.m. on April 17.
