Delaware County passes 2026 budget with 19% tax hike (delcotimes.com) — Media residents are facing a 19% Delaware County property tax hike for 2026, on top of last year’s 23% increase, as council moves to close a long-running budget deficit. Local taxpayers from Media, including a Budget Task Force member, urged council to slow the increases, but a 4-1 majority said the steep jump is needed to stabilize county finances and avoid running out of money.
