Recycle Electronics In Delco Wednesday For A Good Cause
The electronics recycling event in Upland County Park Wednesday will support the Chester Panthers youth football and cheerleading program
UPLAND, PA — Delaware County residents can recycle their old, unused, outdated, and unwanted electronics Wednesday while helping a good cause.
Reworld is hosting a free electronics recycling collection event as a fundraiser for the Chester Panthers youth football and cheerleading program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Upland County Park.
Reworld will make a $15,000 donation to the Chester Panthers, plus an additional $5,000 if 15,000 pounds of e-waste are collected.

A list of accepted items is below.
Only 550 registrants will be accepted. Registration is required in advance and can be done online here or by calling 610-353-1555, extension 3.

Coach Greg Graves (AKA G-Code) President of the Chester Panthers, will be onsite and available for interviews about this partnership with Reworld and the program’s plans with the donated funds.
Upland County Park is located at 280 Sixth Street in Upland.
The Chester Panthers are a youth football and cheerleading organization founded in 1996. Serving about 160 kids ages 5 to 15, the program values mentorship, teamwork, and community pride both on and off the field.
Accepted items are:
- Televisions
- Computer monitors
- Printers
- CPU towers, laptops, mice and keyboards
- Desktop copiers and scanners
- Tablets
- Routers and modems
- Home and cell phones
- Cable boxes and electronic cables
- DVD players, VCRs, stereos and video game consoles
- Vacuum cleaners
All items brought for recycling should be placed in car trunks or truck beds.
