Rose Tree Middle School Announces New Annual Registration Requirement

From Rosewood Tree Middle School District:

The Rose Tree Media School District Board of Directors has approved changes to School Board Policy #200: Enrollment of Students and School Board Policy #202: Eligibility of Nonresident Students. These changes allow for annual registrations for students registered using multiple occupancy agreements, guardianship affidavits and leases.

A student registered with a multiple occupancy agreement is living with his/her parent(s) in the home of a Rose Tree Media resident. Guardianship affidavit status applies to students living with a Rose Tree Media resident without their legal guardian and the resident is assuming all parental responsibilities.

Implementation Timeline

March 2016- All families registered with multiple occupancy forms or a guardianship affidavit will be notified via US mail that they will need to register their children annually. All annual registrations must be completed by August 19, 2016.

April 2016- Penncrest families will receive letters via US mail notifying them that the registration window is now open and they must schedule their registration appointment immediately. All Penncrest registrations must be completed by June 10, 2016.

May 2016- Springton Lake families and all elementary families will receive letters via US mail notifying them that the registration window is now open and they must schedule their registration appointment as soon as possible. All annual registrations must be completed by August 19, 2016.
