Sobriety Checkpoint Planned Overnight Saturday In Delaware County: PSP
Pennsylvania State Police said they will be setting up a sobriety checkpoint overnight Saturday into Sunday somewhere in Delaware County.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Drivers, you're on notice: Pennsylvania State Police in Delaware County will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.
According to state police, a sobriety checkpoint will be set up somewhere in the county overnight Saturday.
Authorities said the checkpoint will be in operation sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday.

State police called drunk and drugged driving "entirely preventable."

"The goal of a checkpoint is to identify and remove impaired, drunk, and drugged drivers from the road," police said. "Our overall goal is to provide travelers safe transit along the roads in Delaware County."
