Springton Lake Student to Sing at Sixers Game Friday
Brianna Jaffe, of Media, will sing the National Anthem at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday.
An 11-year-old Springton Lake Middle School sixth grader will sing the National Anthem before the Sixers take on the Cleveland Caveliers at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8.
This will be the second time, Brianna Jaffe, of Media, will sing the anthem at a Sixers game, this year.
Jaffe, who was a top 10 finalist in the 2011 Delco Idol Jr. and a finalist in the 2013 Vocalist Jr. both at Media Theatre, is currently fronting local rock band, UpFront.
The members of UpFront, which performed at Philadelphia's Bloktoberfest in October, are all students of the Rockdale Music School in Media.
UpFront has also been selected to have a front of the line pass to audition for America's Got Talent in New York City.
Jaffe has also been a featured performer in several productions at the Media Theater, including principal roles in Annie and Sound of Music.
