Stables, Equestrian Center At Delco Park Needs New Tenant
Ridley Creek State Park's Hidden Valley Farm needs a new tenant and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is taking bids.
MEDIA, PA — The stables and equestrian center at Ridley Creek State Parks needs a new steward.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has listed the Hidden Valley Farm on its website as a site that needs a new long-term tenant.
Bidding are being accepted now and bids will be opened at noon on Nov. 14.

Rent will be $5,200 a month on a 10-year lease.
According to the Delaware County Daily Times, the lessee will be allowed to board horses, give riding lessons, provide training, host special events, and offer other equestrian services.

Tom and Ellie Chidester have run the farm since 1999, according to the farm's Facebook page.
