Board of Supervisors Approve Moon Police Contract

The last night approved a collective bargaining agreement with the through January 1, 2013.

The board also approved the final contractor payment application for Youngblood Paving Inc., in the amount of $521,963.72 for the township's 2011 road paving program. 

Other items of interest from the meeting: 

• The board approved the township's 2012 bond issue. 

• The board approved a motion to reject all bids for the purchase of an all-purpose emergency response vehicle for the township's volunteer fire department. The township has re-opened the bidding process for the vehicle purchase. 

• The board advised all citizens that the proposed 2012 township budget is available for public viewing from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday; and from 8 a.m. to noon Friday. The budget will be considered for adoption at 6 p.m. Dec. 14. Check back with Patch for coverage.
