Crafton Woman Accused of Assault Heads to Trial

A Crafton area woman accused of assault, terroristic threats and illegally carrying a firearm will stand trial on most of the charges. Read about that and other preliminary hearing decisions by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.

A Crafton area woman accused of assault, terroristic threats and illegally carrying a firearm will stand trial on most of the charges.

Mary E. Carnahan, 52, was held for court on a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license and misdemeanor counts of weapons possession, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats.

A felony aggravated assault charge was withdrawn during her preliminary court hearing with District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on Feb. 11.
