Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Moon Municipal Authority to conduct hydrant inspections

The Moon Municipal Authority will conduct hydrant and flushing inspections between 11 p.m. and 7 p.m. tonight. The inspections will take place throughout the week. 

Customers are advised that they may notice low water pressure and slight water discoloration.

2. Robinson Commissioners convene

Robinson Township's Board of Commissioners meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the township's Church Hill Road municipal building.

3. Former Ingram Elementary School re-opens as community center

The Montour School District is re-opening the former Ingram Elementary as a community resource center. Workshops, tutoring and Internet access will be available at the facility. 

The district will re-open the building Oct. 2. The new center's hours of operation are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

4. Moon and Montour Friday night football

Both Montour and Moon are on the road this week. Montour plays at 7 p.m. at Chartiers Valley, while Moon Area takes on Central Valley. 

5. Pittsburgh International Terminal turns 20

The Pittsburgh International Airport terminal will celebrate 20 years at its Findlay Township location on Oct. 6. Log back in with Patch for coverage.
