Hit-and-Run Crash Reported on Montour Run Road

Police blotter for Monday, April 25.

A Sewickley woman was cited for a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Montour Run Road and Market Place Boulevard Sunday. 

Police charged Antonette Campbell, 48, of Sewickley, with one count of accident involving damage to an attended vehicle at 3:30 p.m. Sunday after another driver claimed Campbell rear-ended her vehicle at the intersection's traffic light.

Police said Campbell's Volkswagon Jetta struck the bumper of another vehicle while it was stopped at a red light, but Campbell drove away after briefly pulling over to inspect the damage. A damage estimate for the crash was not available. No injuries were reported.

Campbell told police that she left the scene of the crash because she believed no damage was done to either vehicle. 

  • Michael Jay Bevilacua, 21, of Murrysville, PA, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at midnight April 20 on Brodhead Road. 
  • Richard James Montest, 22, of Moon, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:30 a.m. April 22 on University Boulevard.
