Moon Gymnasts Win Pennsylvania Classic

The Moon Area High School gymnastics team took home the winning spot in the Pennsylvania Classic. 

The team won Sunday night with a final score of 146.705 in the state final, the Tribune-Review reports. 

Baldwin took home second place in the competition. The Tigers also won the meet in 2012. 

Earlier this month, the team took its second consecutive WPIAL championship during a competition at Moon Area High School. 

Moon senior Sarah Haslett, competing in her first WPIAL competition, unseated three-time champion Kelly Burak, of Hopewell, for the top spot in the competition.
