Moon Woman Charged with Defrauding Senior Citizen
Police say the woman befriended the victim and obtained her bank account information.

Moon Police have charged a township woman with defrauding a woman out of more than $1,400.Â
Jeanette Nolte, 44, is accused of accessing the 63-year-old woman's bank account to obtain a debit card, using it to make fraudulent purchases at Moon and Coraopolis-area businesses.Â
Police in a complaint said Nolte befriended the victim, a woman in poor health who has suffered multiple strokes and is often forgetful.

The victim became aware of the theft in July when she received a bank notice for an overdraft fee in the amount of $444, police said.Â
Nolte was charged with access device fraud and theft by deception in October. She was arraigned on the charges Nov. 2 and faces a preliminary hearing Dec. 4 in Coraopolis District Court.Â
