
president Elizabeth Santillo resigned earlier this month from her position at the Moon Catholic-affiliated high school.
Santillo announced her resignation to the school's Board of Directors on July 1, according to a school statement. No further details were provided on Santillo's reason for leaving office.
The school also temporarily eliminated the position of assistant to the president as a result of the resignation.

The school said in a statement today that the school will also continue its search for a new principal and continue to operate under its current administrative staff model, which includes both a president and principal.
Assistant principal Tim Plocinik, school business manager Cathy Neubert and director of advancement Cheryl Karashin will together fill the role of president in the interim, according to the school.Â

Plocinik will also act as principal, but will return to his current position as assistant principal when the position is filled.
"We are confident that the school will continue to move forward under the leadership of the transition team, guided by our core values," according to the statement.
Santillo had served as the school's president since 2008, according to OLSH.org.
