Patch Pet: Meet Bailey

This 10-year-old mixed breed is awaiting his perfect home. Maybe it's right here in Moon Township.

Meet Bailey, a tan and black German shepherd/beagle mix. The 10-year-old was found as a stray and taken to Animal Friends in Ohio Township.

The sweet and friendly Bailey is searching for a home in which to spend his golden years.

Bailey's favorite toy is a stuffed doll, which he loves to cuddle with. He is very playful for his age and enjoys playing fetch in the shelter’s play areas; he will even exchange his ball for a treat or two.

Bailey walks nicely on a loose leash and knows to sit and stay when told. He appears to be house-trained, as his kennel is always tidy and clean. Bailey is calm and social and gets along well with his other kennel mates. He does need exercise to help him with his excess weight. He is happiest when receiving attention and hugs.

Bailey is young-at-heart and ready for a fresh new start. If you are looking to adopt a gentle guy who wants a second chance at a forever home stop by Animal Friends and meet him.
