2 Women Stole 22 Pieces Of Jewelry, Clothing From New Hope Shops: Cops
The women fled but left their bag behind when confronted by a 4 The Love Of Thingz employee, the New Hope Borough Police Department said.

NEW HOPE, PA — Police are looking for two women who apparently stole 24 items, including clothing and jewelry, from New Hope and Lambertville shops on April 10.
At approximately 2:12 p.m. that day, a 4 The Love Of Thingz employee called the New Hope Borough Police Department to say that two women had tried to steal something from the store.
Police said the employee had noticed that, inside a plastic bag one woman was holding, there was an item that hadn't been purchased. She confronted the women and told them to give her the bag, according to a news release, before calling the police.

The two women then fled on foot, police said.
Police found a clothing item, a plushie, and 22 pieces of jewelry inside the bag.

"The clothing item, the plushie, and a piece of jewelry has been identified as being stolen from shops in New Hope," police said. "Two pieces of jewelry were identified as being stolen from a shop in Lambertville, New Jersey."
Police have not identified the owners of the remaining 19 pieces of jewelry.
