New Hope Restaurant Plans An 'Unforgettable' New Year's Eve

The evening begins with a 3-course dinner and continues with a high-energy New Year's Eve DJ Dance Party and champagne toast at midnight.

NEW HOPE, PA — Stella of New Hope is taking New Year’s Eve to new heights with two experiences designed for an unforgettable night. Guests may attend either celebration or take in both.

The night will open with a special dinner featuring a prix fixe Chef’s Tasting Menu served from 5 to 9 p.m., priced at $165 per person plus tax and gratuity. Executive Chef Keith Bernstein’s four-course menu highlights seasonal seafood, inventive vegetable preparations, and refined winter flavors. Diners may select one dish per course, with offerings including:

  • Freshly Shucked East and West Coast Oysters — meyer mignonette, yuzu ponzu pearls, champagne–meyer lemon snow
  • Kampachi Crudo — yuzu-kosho vinaigrette, kumquat confit, compressed Asian pear, cucumber, shiso, crispy wild rice
  • Cheese Plate — artisanal selections, nuts, house preserves, seeded crackers
  • King Trumpet “Crab” — champagne gelée disc, finger-lime pearls, sea lettuce, buckwheat crisp

Second Course

  • Seared Diver Scallop — saffron nage, braised leek, confit potato crumb, preserved lemon, chive oil
  • Wild Boar Ragù & Pappardelle — pancetta, porcini mushroom, tomato, thyme, gremolata, pecorino romano
  • Rolling Hills Farm Asparagus — grilled & raw asparagus, morel mushroom tea, roasted maitake, tarragon oil, cured egg yolk, nut-seed crumb
  • Black Truffle Panisse — truffle emulsion, roasted maitake, pickled green peppercorn, pumpkin seed crumb

  • Lobster Bouillabaisse — saffron-tomato broth, lobster, dorade, mussels, charred fennel, confit tomato, rouille crouton
  • Roasted Duck Breast — black cherry gastrique, parsnip silk, duck leg croquette, glazed Belgian endive, cacao jus
  • Pressed Short Rib “Steak” — black garlic bordelaise, celery-root brown butter purée, potato kataifi nest, Brussels sprout petals, leek ash
  • Roasted Sugarloaf Cabbage — black garlic caramel, truffle gremolata, celery root–sunchoke silk, puffed wild rice, red lentils, lemon micro-zest

An optional $65 wine pairing will showcase global selections designed to complement each course. All dinner guests will also receive a complimentary cocktail at the bar and access to a $55 discounted ticket for Stella’s New Year’s Eve DJ Dance Party, available by phone after reserving a dinner spot. At 9 p.m., Stella shifts the celebration downstairs for a high-energy New Year’s Eve DJ Dance Party running until 1 a.m. The late-night gathering features DJ entertainment, light bites, sweet treats, a cash bar, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $125 per person plus tax and gratuity, with limited availability at the door. All attendees must be 21+, and tickets can be purchased here.
