Meeting On Rt. 202 Development Concepts Is Tuesday In Solebury
The Solebury Township supervisors want to hear what residents would and would not like to see along 202.

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — A community meeting will be held in Solebury Township Tuesday, Sept. 24 to gather public input on how to handle potential development along the Route 202 corridor.
The meeting, hosted by the Solebury Township Board of Supervisors, is the second of several community meetings on the topic. It starts at 6 p.m. and will be held in the auditorium of the New Hope-Solebury High School, 182 W. Bridge St., New Hope.
There is currently no specific development plan under consideration by the board, officials have said.

“We want to thank everyone who came out to the first meeting on Aug. 20," said Board of Supervisors Chair Mark Baum Baicker. "Because we had an overflow crowd, not everyone got a chance to be heard or to hear the views of their neighbors. We will continue to schedule additional meetings to give everyone a chance to express their thoughts and ensure that supervisors hear the full range of opinions on this important issue.”
Board members say they want to hear what residents would and would not like to see along 202, as well as understand any impacts potential new developments may have.
