​New Hope Restaurant Repeats As Winner Of Prestigious Wine Spectator Award

NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope's Nektar Wine Bar has again been recognized in Wine Spectator's 2025 Restaurant Awards for its exceptional wine program.

“A wine list is a restaurant’s identity in print, and this year’s Wine Spectator Restaurant Award winners reflect both deep knowledge and a passion for discovery,” said Marvin R. Shanken, Editor and Publisher, Wine Spectator. “I proudly present the 3,811 restaurants worldwide that earned a

Launched in 1981, the Restaurant Awards represent the world’s only program focused exclusively on restaurant wine programs. Awards are assigned on three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award (the most exclusive). This year's awards recognize more than 3,800 restaurants in all 50 U.S. states and more than 80 countries, Wine Spectator said.

Nektar Wine Bar won the Award of Excellence, which recognizes restaurants around the world whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.

Other Bucks County restaurants winning the Award of Excellence this year include: Ferry & Main in New Hope, Frost Lounge in Doylestown, Capital Grille in Newtown, and Spinnerstown Hotel Restaurant & Tap Room in Quakertown.
