New Hope's Ferry Market Adds A "Great New Vibe"
The Ferry Market in New Hope will celebrate the addition of a new "beer garden" on Sunday in what used to be a front courtyard.

NEW HOPE, PA — The Ferry Market, a popular foodie destination in the heart of New Hope, will celebrate its fresh new look and the opening of its brand new beer garden during a special reopening preview on Sunday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
At noon, visitors are invited to raise a glass to the revitalization and expansion of the market with a ribbon cutting at the market's outdoor beer garden. A pop-up vendor will be on site with beer available for purchase.
The family-friendly celebration will feature live music by Matt Setzer, face painting and a balloon artist for kids of all ages, and a chance to explore the diverse vendors and sample "incredible local eats and drinks" from the market's vendors.

"We've been working to update the market. It needed a little bit of a facelift," said Fuller.
The interior now boasts a fresh coat of paint, creating a more welcoming and modern aesthetic while still honoring its historic roots.
"We went from a dark gray ceiling to a white ceiling to bring out more brightness in the market and we've added a new color palette with orange and turquoise, really updating the market to make it more lively."
They've also replaced furniture throughout the market "again just to elevate the feel of the whole market," said Fuller. "On top of that, we're going through a whole new rebranding with new logos and a new color palette."
The biggest change is the addition of a new "beer-garden type of space" in what used to be a front courtyard.
"There won't be an operating bar in there. We don't want to mislead people," said Fuller, but patrons are more than welcome to purchase beer and wine at Unionville Vineyards and take it over to the garden or just use that area to people watch or to enjoy their lunch or dinner.
"We took out stucco that was there and replaced the floor with bluestone and put brick everywhere and installed nice planter boxes with viney plants that will hopefully grow up the walls and across the roof over time - just giving it that beer garden feel."
Be sure to stop inside to try offerings from the market's vendors, including brand new arrivals - Alta's Kitchen, Smell the Curry and Sushi Station.
Other vendors include Lima Fusion, Little Radish, Market Pizza, Sabor, Sciascia Confections, SkyRoast Coffee, The Good Gyro, The Pork Shack and Unionville Vineyards.
