NEW HOPE, PA — Summer camp anyone? Games, arts and crafts, outdoor hikes, and snacks with friends are all part of the fun around New Hope and Lambertville.
Now is the time to make plans for summer camps as they fill up fast. All around Bucks County there are some good camp options for kids. Here are a few.
YMCA Bucks County offers summer camp programs for youth from preschool age on up. Camps are held in Doylestown, Quakertown, Fairless Hills, Holland, New Hope-Solebury, Lambertville, and other locations. Acting Naturally is a Bucks County non-profit that offers summer theatre camps for kids 8-18 years old. Broadway Bootcamp, The Lion King Kids, and Once on this Island Jr. are a few of the camps coming in 2022. The theater is in the Shoppes at Flowers Mill in Langhorne. Find more information here.

George School Day Camp is open for its 45th season of summer camps, but registration is filling up fast. The day camp for kids ages 4-14 is in Newton and runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. New in the 2022 season, camp space will include the Newton Friends School campus. Find out more here.
School of Rock Newtown brings music programs kids love to the area. School Of Rock invites kids and teens to rock out at several music-filled summer camps this year by learning to play instruments through popular rock songs. Programs include Rock 101, and Song Writing Camp. There's even a Rookies Camp for 5- to 7-year-olds. Check out Beatles Camp, and Punk Rock Camp, too. It meets in the Newtown Shopping Center.
