New Hope and Lambertville have a few great places to enjoy delicious Mexican food in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.

NEW HOPE, PA — If you're planning to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with great and authentic Mexican food, you have some good choices, though you may have to cross the river into Lambertville.
Here are some suggestions for food and drinks as you head out for Battle of Puebla Day or plan your takeout to celebrate in your own fiesta space.

Tacos Cancun in Lambertville closes Tuesdays and Wednesdays but guess what? They open at 11 a.m. on Thursdays and that includes Cinco de Mayo Thursday, May 5. Check out this authentic little Mexican eatery at 20 N. Main St. in Lambertville. They don't have a website, but they did quickly answer our social media message.
Neuva Esperanza Mexican Grill is open and serving Mexican and Peruvian cuisine at 82 S. Main St. in New Hope. Patch called to see what was up since they're at the site that has been the seafood market; we were assured that Neuva Esperanza is busy cooking up Mexcian food right in New Hope. If you head out elsewhere around Bucks County you'll find more choices.
Poco's Mexican-American Restaurant, Bar & Comedy Cabaret has a lot going on. It's at 625 N. Main St. in Doylestown. There's so much happening, in fact, that Poco's moved its Cinco de Mayo celebrations to the day before. Their Cinco de Mayo bash is happening on Wednesday, May 4, starting at 4 p.m. so mark your calendar. There's takeout, of course, but dining in sounds so fun. Cuervo reps will be on hand from 4-8 p.m. And don't forget specialty margaritas.
Casa Toro Mexican Grill is waiting to impress as it boasts four years running of designation as The Intelligencer's Best, serving outstanding Mexican and Latin cuisine in Bucks County.
