BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The restaurant and shopping scene in Bucks County continues to evolve, with many changes coming in 2020.

There's a flurry of activity in the Oxford Valley shopping area, plus dozens of new restaurants are preparing for 2020 openings. And in New Hope, McCaffrey's will soon open its fourth Bucks County store in the former Staples building on West Bridge Street.

Here is a look at some recent and upcoming additions across Bucks County, and other changes:

1. Pan-Asian restaurant by Oishi owners coming to Doylestown: Omiza, a Pan-Asian restaurant by the owners of Oishi, is opening soon in Doylestown. It will specialize in Korean barbecue. MORE.

2. McCaffrey's coming to New Hope: McCaffrey's will open its fourth Bucks County store in New Hope, at the former Staples building on West Bridge Street. MORE.

3. Turning Point coming to Doylestown: Turning Point, a popular lunch and breakfast chain, will be opening its third Bucks County restaurant in Doylestown. A summer 2020 opening is planned. MORE.

4. Bucks County's last Kmart closes: Kmart closed its last Bucks County store this month. No word yet on what will take its place. MORE.

5. Hilton Hotel plans Oxford Valley location: A four-story Tru by Hilton hotel is planned at the former Toys 'R' Us. Developers are expected to submit plans in early 2020 for the preliminary subdivision and land-development process. MORE.

6. "Best of Philadelphia" wine bar opening Bucks County location: Tredici, a chic Mediterranean restaurant that last year was named the area's best wine bar by Philadelphia Magazine, is opening a Doylestown location. MORE.

7. Wegmans plots second Bucks County store: Wegmans is eyeing a 36-acre development in Lower Makefield for its second Bucks County store. MORE.

8. Two med spas coming to Newtown: Two medical spas are planning to open in Newtown Township in 2020. La Chele, which has a location in New Hope, will open in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. La Maison House of Aesthetics is taking over the spaces vacated by Papillion and Marissa Dress Shop on Sycamore Street. MORE.

9. Apartments proposed at Oxford Valley Mall: Two apartment buildings with a total of about 600 units are proposed on the mall's property, in the area where Boscov's was located. MORE.

10. Joe Santucci's Original Square Pizza opening in Fairless Hills: The Philadelphia-based pizzeria is currently under construction in Fairless Hills, with an opening expected early in the new year. MORE.

11. Bryn and Dane's coming to Bucks County: Bryn and Dane's, known as a healthy fast food chain, will be opening in the Mercer Square shopping center in Doylestown in early 2020. MORE.

12. Bomba Tacos & Rum opening in Newtown: The Ohio-based Latin-style restaurant and bar will be opening its first area location at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. MORE.

13. A.C. Moore to close all Bucks County locations: The chain, owned by Nicole Crafts, said it has decided to "exit its retail operations" by closing all A.C. Moore stores "as part of a broader strategic plan." MORE.

14. Lower Bucks chemical company plans major expansion: Ohio-based Americhem is undergoing a 60,000 square foot expansion that will result in 25 new jobs. MORE.

15. A 'high-end' fried chicken eatery plans Bucks County expansion: Lovebird, a high-end fried chicken restaurant by the founders of Jules, will open its second Bucks County location. MORE.

16. New brewery coming to Bucks County: Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant will open a 7,500-square-foot space in spring 2020 in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. MORE.
