Boy Gets Stuck in Oxford Valley Mall Escalator
The boy, 7, was airlifted to CHOP after his foot became trapped in an Oxford Valley Mall escalator.

A 7-year-old boy was airlifted to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on Sunday after he became trapped in a Bucks County escalator.
The 7-year-old boy from Trenton, N.J., was shopping with his mother Sunday afternoon at the Oxford Valley Mall when his foot became trapped in an escalator, The Bucks County Courier Times reported.
A nearby shopper pressed the escalator’s emergency button, alerting mall security, Fox29 said; in the end, it took fire crews from Langhorne-Middletown, Fairless Hills and Penndel about 20 minutes to extricate the boy using hydraulic rams and other tools, the Courier Times said.
