NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Newtown Township reported the following incidents between Dec. 26 and 31, including a home burglary and the theft of a package. Here are the details:
December 26
- At approximately 2:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence for the report of a burglary. The incident is under investigation.
- At approximately 10 a.m., police received the report of a package theft that occurred on December 23 from a Newtown Township residence. The total value of loss was $427.18.

- At approximately 2:15 p.m., police received the report of a theft involving unauthorized purchases that occurred on December 22 in Newtown Township. The incident is under investigation.

- A Newtown Township resident stopped at police headquarters around 9:30 a.m. to report a fraud that originated on Facebook Marketplace. The total value of loss was $900.
