Council Rock Custodian Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The employee was last at Council Rock North on March 19. Schools have been closed since March 13.

NEWTOWN, PA — A custodian that worked at Council Rock North has tested positive for the coronavirus, officials said in a message to the school community Thursday.
According to the letter from Superintendent Robert Fraser, the district learned late Thursday that one of the custodians from Aramark tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee has been working at Council Rock North, and was last at the school building on March 19. The school has been disinfected since then, Fraser said. Schools have been closed since March 13 due to the virus.

A second Aramark employee was exposed to this person who tested positive. That employee was at the school building as recently as Thursday, Fraser said .
"Both of these individuals are now in quarantine, and this second employee is currently asymptomatic," he said.

Schools will be closed until at least April 8, under the governor's order. Fraser said he suspects that the closure will be extended. The district's distance learning program starts Monday.
